“The Magic Touch” is an original hand painted reclaimed wood acrylic painting. It is a perfect example of how Roland (aka grumpy shop guy!) and I each contribute our gifts to handcrafting and creating art. He prepares the wood canvas which I paint and then give it back so he can frame the painting in stained reclaimed wood. I loved painting this piece and I channeled the magic of Santa while I worked on it. I remember going to bed as a little girl on Christmas Eve thinking about Santa coming to leavepresents and seeing our tree. The painting evokes feelings of nostalgic memories and the joy of being a grandmother and Kookum for our littles who go to bed on Christmas Eve dreaming of Santa! The painting measures 16.5 x 20 inches framed. The frame has been sealed with polyurethane and the painting finished with high gloss varnish. Imagine hanging the magic during the holidays for years to come?
