I am blessed to live in the foothills of Alberta where many bears make their home. They are a special spirit animal to our indigenous communities and represent symbols of protection, striving for what is right and the restoration of balance. The bear is often misunderstood as a dangerous animal to people, however that is not the case. They are happy to share their home with humans as long as we leave them alone. I wanted to paint a bear who looked more scared of us than we are of him! This all occasion card is a print of my original animal painting on reclaimed wood. The painting is also available in my shop. The 7.28 x 4.72 inch horizontal orientation card is printed on premium matte card stock and comes with an envelope sealed in a clear protector sleeve.
