Introducing a new one of a kind animal painting on reclaimed wood titled “New Pigs on the Block!” The canvas for this painting is the recycled solid oak microwave shelf from our kitchen renovation! The beautifully rounded edges on 3 sides add dimension and character to this one of a kind painting. I prepared the canvas with gesso before painting it with acrylics and finishing with a layer of semi gloss glaze. The painting measures 31 x 13 inches and 2 “deep. From left to right, piglet names are Pig Mac, Pinky, Puff Daddy and Percy.
